silver stacking bullion

Silver Stacking | My First

For a while now I’ve wanted to get into some physical items and bullion happened to be one of them. While cryptocurrency and NFTs are cool and all that. There is just something about being able to hold in your own hands an object. Like in the cryptocurrency world it seems contacts have some sway in the physical world of Silver as well. As I feel quite blessed with what I got to start with.

One of the things I was hesitant about wanting to get into something like silver is the issues with counterfeits that are ever-increasing as prices and people's desperation for it increases. I’m willing to admit I don’t know much about silver and this is my first foray into it. Thankfully the source these have come from is trustworthy place that will also buy them back as well.

I was quite blessed to be given two pieces to start with. One is a 1 troy ounce fine silver Engelhard. The one other that has amplified my interest even further is a 1988 silver eagle coin. Both feel quite cool to start off having and I’m not quite sure where this possibly new hobby of mine will lead to.

Engelhard is quite interesting with it having a serial number on the front of it. After trying to do some research on it, it seems they are no longer made. They also seem to have quite a few different designs on the front with the one I have been a bit older. I feel quite blessed to have this one. Perhaps if I ever get a better camera I’ll have a decent photo of it front-facing to share.

When I was younger I use to collect coins from different countries around the world. Nothing amazing or valued was in that small collection of coins I had. I just loved the look and even the different feel those coins had.

The silver eagle is what I could see myself wanting to collect more of –coins. While bars and all of that are cool if I’m going to grow a collection of something I’d like to be able to enjoy the presentation of that object as well. Not to mention it should be easier to barter with or sell if the need arises.

With the rise of endless regulations, inflation, and uncertainty it just seems like now is the time to diversify a bit more than I have in the past. Silver has been around long enough for the markets to have a decent understanding of the regulation to how these times can affect it.

Final Thoughts

It has been interesting to see the rise in prices for silver over some time. When compared to something like gold and its usefulness factor it seems to be still be undervalued despite increasing prices and demand for it. After the events that transpired over this month so far alone, something tells me the demand and price are going to keep raging upward. If not and this is somehow near the top I have two cool pieces to enjoy for an esthetic reason.
