Alone and forgotten -Nature Photography- [ENG/ESP]

Hello Hive!
Today I bring you a set of photos I took on the Avila, an iconic mountain of my city.

Hola Hive!
Hoy les traigo un set de fotos que hice en el Ávila, una montaña icónica de mi ciudad.

The mountain was empty, no one had set foot on it for years. Its visitors and residents fled after that tragic accident, but the beauty never left it.

La montaña estaba vacía, hacía años que nadie ponía un pie en ella. Sus visitantes y residentes huyeron luego de aquel trágico accidente, pero la belleza nunca la abandonó.

After a while walking, I asked myself: why hasn't nature reclaimed all its spaces yet? It is as if it had been frozen in time.

Anyone would believe that this place is about to open, not knowing that it has been abandoned for almost 3 decades.

Luego de un rato caminando, me pregunté: ¿por qué la naturaleza aún no ha reclamado todos sus espacios? Es como si se hubiese congelado en el tiempo.

Cualquiera creería que este lugar está por abrir y no que lleva casi 3 décadas abandonado.

At one point I thought I heard voices coming from inside the mountain, but then I was sure when it was repeated. I thought it was a myth to keep the curious away, I didn't imagine it was real.

En un momento me pareció escuchar unas voces que venían desde adentro de la montaña, pero luego estuve seguro cuando se repitió. Pensé que era un mito para mantener alejado a los curiosos, no imaginé que fuera algo real.

I decided to go back when I felt that the voices began to almost bend my will. I checked my watch and it was just like my dad told me: It only takes a couple of hours for the mountain to absorb you and for you to disappear into it.

Decidí volver cuando sentí que las voces comenzaban a casi doblegar mi voluntad. Revisé mi reloj y fue justo como me contó mi papá: Basta con un par de horas para que la montaña te absorba y desaparezcas en ella.
