I saw a moon from afar
like a stranger it feels
with rays so cold
looking upon me like Messiah
I held unto my thoughts
my imagination went wild
if only it could last longer
as it washed away
sadness poured on me
I scream aloud
if only someone could hear
walk close
shelter my drenched soul
tell me tales
of a better tomorrow
I look into the sky
like it will submerge into the sea
my heart opened so wide
my saliva dried out
like desert lost its taste
breathing heavily
as I stumbled
upon the mountains
tears flowed down my spines
wishing to be saved
what a selfish thought
here I am again
at the bottom
climbing over again
holding unto my breathe
