Sometimes, I wish I was born in an environment where all these digital skills are highly regarded. I just wished I was also one of those tech bros, who knows how to do magic with the computer but they say wishes are not horses.

Right from when I began to use a smartphone, I fell in love with programming and coding. A few of my friends who are computer literate often amaze me when they mix symbols and words together and it gives amazing results.

But all my passion remained as wishes as I didn't get anyone to properly coach me. To date, I still wish I could learn. I love things that trigger my creativity, I love inventing and discovering things, and that's what programming and coding have to offer.

Coding and programming are some of the hottest digital skills, and although it is lucrative not many people are interested in the field due to its complex nature.

I know of people who bought courses and paid for mentorship on coding but abandoned it along the line because they were not coping.

It is something that requires time, sacrifice, and attention to grasp, only the patient and the resilient can properly cope with it.

We are in digital days, and those who have knowledge of coding seem to have more advantage over others. The skill makes them valuable, creating opportunities for them.

Someone with such skills doesn't even need the government to give them a job, they create one for themselves. It is as if the internet belongs to them.

They can solve problems and do so many amazing things in the digital world. I know of a guy in my place who can build applications, create games, and so on.

I used to call him "the master of the internet,” and he seemed to know almost everything on his phone and computer. I do not know much about coding and tech but whenever I see people who do, I wish I had the knowledge too.

If coding would be made compulsory in school for children until they attain the age of understanding it would be a nice idea.

They will grow with the knowledge, and before they hit that age of understanding, it will have become a part of them.

However, for a fact, some children will still not get the knowledge due to lack of interest. There were so many things I was taught in primary school that I can not remember now.

Probably because I learned them too early, if it had prevailed, I probably would have still retained some detail.

Learning coding early would be really great as it will give one enough time to practice and learn until it becomes a part of them. Before reaching adulthood, one might have probably become a boss in the field.

I believe that no matter how difficult something is, if we spend enough time on it and remain committed we will learn it.

There are many advantages attached to coding, the one that stands out for me is the creation of opportunities. Any child who grows up already having the skill would just grow up and see his or herself already empowered with a skill, all they need to do is to just go for an upgrade.

However, there is also a bad side to it, some will use the knowledge wrongly, and in a situation where everyone has the skill, the situation might be very bad if a greater number of people choose to use it the wrong way, especially now that things are difficult and people are willing to go any length to make money.

Also, there would be so much competition and people would rather solve their problems themselves than go to others and that can also be a problem.
