Social media is now home to several of us. Gone are the days when people only use social media for fun, nowadays social media is both a platform for entertainment and for money making. It has become a place of opportunities for those who are smart.
Social media is a blessing to so many people, I have seen people who used social media to promote their businesses and it's really paying them off. I am a social media kind of person, I don't know whether I am an addict or not because there is no day I don't go online on social media. There are so many social networks spread across the world, but I am active only on three for now, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Hive.
As I have said before, I find it easier to relate with people on social media than physically, normally I am very shy and I don't like long conversations. Sometimes I feel like talking with people is consuming my time, that's a very bad habit I know but, I think I like it. If you really want to get me to talk, just chat me up and you would be the one to run away.
I am always on social media, sometimes it surprises me when people say, I don't like social media. it's kind of weird to me, how do they cope? I mean social platforms are places for one to be. You meet new people, watch funny skits, see the world, and even earn. How are they managing to survive without these platforms? Well, we are wired differently. One man's food they say Is another man's poison.
I am really finding it difficult to pick which of the social platforms is my favorite between Facebook and Hive, I have been making comparisons since and Hive emerged the winner lol. I know I love chatting on Facebook so much. I spend a lot of time on that platform sometimes but there are days, I stay off it completely.
But for Hive, there is no hour, no day that I don't engage on it. From Mondays down to Sundays, I am always active on hive. Although chatting is not the primary thing on the platform, it is more fun than any other social platform for me and I bet you know why, well if you don't I will tell you.
You see in my life, I don't take for granted anything that fetches money for me. Hive happens to be a unique social platform where you share your thoughts and then get some rewards for it, unlike other platforms where you post and end up burning your data for nothing.
We don't chat here yet I log in every day, every hour to see what's happening in the chain and also interact with the post of others. In fact, I find it more fun reading and dropping comments on the posts of others than chatting. Sometimes my day would be rough, but as soon as I read the posts of others, I get motivated or inspired. I must confess, Hive is blessed with wonderful and excellent authors, I don't want to mention names though.
There is literally nothing other social platforms give me that I don't get from Hive, is it news, Is it friends, is it entertainment? Name it all, Hive has them all here for me. Well, don't get me wrong. It is not that other social platforms are not doing well, they are and I also engage them but among them all Hive is the best for me.
