My Experience During The Week

Truly, there is joy in showing love unto others, the person who said "there is love in sharing" never lied at all. This week's task was fun, although, I skipped a day without supporting one of my teem mates, that was not intentional, I was having little issues with my health but thank God for mercies, I am fine now.

When I saw this week's tasks, initially I was like how would I go about this? I was so worried because I was not having anything big to support anyone with. And all my teem mates happen to be influential people, I mean they are big people in Hive, "how do I support such people? What would I give them that would ever be enough?" I kept thinking.

What was on my mind, in the beginning, was to follow each of their posts, read and drop a very nice comment, I know how good comments bring joy to authors. My voting power is not even big but at least it's better than none, after that they boost their posts with ecency points.

I was able to do just that on Monday, I read a post from hopestylist@hopestylist, a very nice post, dropped a comment, and upvoted it. Tuesday, I was not too stable health-wise, so, I didn't do much, I had to join the two other persons together which are princessbusayo@princessbusayo and dwixer@dwixer. I read their posts dropped a comment and tried boosting their posts with some ecency points but I realized that it didn't work.

I felt bad about it but, they say "Every disappointment is a blessing". But something happened on Tuesday, I was lying down on my bed when I saw a notification, I rushed to check it out and I discovered that my post was boosted by dwixer@dwixer. Honestly, I was so excited to see that, I didn't expect it at all, Later on, I got another notification, it was still him, 100 dreem token. I want to use this medium to say thank you, boss.

Actually, when you feed others you also get fed, what he did really motivated me and I wanted to do something more for my Dreem teem as well. So, thoughts upon thoughts and I realized that I have some ecency points and they can be transferred. I rushed there and transferred some ecency points to them, though it was little I was so excited, having the privilege to show love to those I look up to is such a great privilege.

This week's challenge taught me that nothing is too small to appreciate or show love to someone. Even if it's just one talent you have share it with someone, don't look at their status or class, they will appreciate it. Giving is not only for the rich, it's for everyone, if we keep hiding under the shadows of "I don't have" or, " what I have is too small," we will never help anyone at all.
