Some think that life is all about making so much money, having the ability to get whatever one desires, possessing power, and so on, only to get all those things and discover that something still feels missing within.
It's very painful that the struggles of life have made it look like everything in life is tied to making money, being famous, or possessing power. All these are relevant, but they are not the purpose.
The best those things can do is to make life easy, but they can never automatically settle one's original reason for existence.
This then leads to the question: what is our purpose in life? Having money and being successful is only a personal achievement; purpose is always related to affecting lives beyond just yours.
What's the difference? “I am a wealthy medical doctor,” that's just your achievement. “I am a medical doctor whose primary assignment is to support the less privileged and make them access services whether or not they can afford it,” that is the purpose.
The subject can be a little complicated because where one's purpose lies can be where another's personal dream lies.
I have heard several people say their purpose in life is to serve their maker and do his bidding, and that's true; in fact, that obligation applies to everyone with the exception of those who don't have a maker.

At that point, your money, your wealth, your life, and everything will make sense. You will feel alive and relevant.
But let's also clear the air: for one to enjoy pursuing purpose, money is relevant; this is why we should do our best to have a system that can keep money coming.
As human as the idea of contributing to humanity sounds, it will be very difficult to effectively serve without money.
