Hello Steemians. I'm Helen and I'm glad to be on Steemit. I joined Steemit after a couple of friends shared links with me on Facebook. I didnt let them know I was going to join.
I have goals for not letting them know. :-).
I am a Blogger with 200k followers so I'll like to see what it looks like not to carry my fan base along as I believe its not always about the money. Its always about the value.

I felt Steemit will give me the opportunity to say what I want without the fear of being castigated or mocked.
My Youtube has given me a lot of honor and respect I don't really think I deserve.
This ascribed respect has made me (to an extent) not to be able to share my personal life experiences and challenges.
The society doesn't also help matters as it sees certain subjects as taboo or in appropriate whereas these topics kill the society gradually.
They'll be topics I'll be talking about on Steemit.
I'm not sure yet but so you know, I might be writing about some NSFW posts as the topics include:
- Sex life of married women in the society
- Sex life single women
- The controversy of religion
- Africa in its prime
- The thin line between immigration and triggered racism
- An immigrant's desperation in America
...and so on
I'm currently taking programming classes so I might end up creating an app for these topics.
I am Empress and for some who are familiar with my blogging style.
