I've had a very good couple of weeks. I moved into a new apartment after months of Searching for one that matched my taste and cost preferences. I've also experienced a state of ease from financial pressures that have hounded me since the beginning of the year. You could say I got my mojo back.

While no point was particularly noteworthy (it felt like a loop, kind of like what we see with the current alt prices in Crypto), the experience wasn't particularly funny. I did have support from a loving relationship and family, which I think is another pillar that can sometimes be underestimated.

It's not so much as the intensity of a decline that feels bad, but the thought of when it all actually comes to an end. No matter how optimistic one is, a sustained losing streak will eventually affect perspectives about potential outcomes. We would need to literally train our minds to see any positives left and hang on to hope.

The real temptations comes with settling for something that is less than our desires. In my case, I was almost tempted to go for an apartment that I didn't quite like, but was only attractive on grounds of availability and proximity. It's not like I was certain of better, but I held out anyways.

I've learned a ton of lessons about patience from sheer experiences. Yet when the next temptation comes, it will still push me to wall and make me wonder if I truly know what am doing...lol.
