One of my colleagues is currently under investigation for rather unwholesome practices that has left everyone saddened. It is simply because we try our best to get along and treat each other as one family. To have something as surprising as a theft case from someone we know is rather surprising. Well, innocent until proven guilty so I'm still waiting for the investigations to conclude.
What I would state though is that when people choose to make dumb decisions they are far too often blinded by their immediate needs that they can't see the whole picture. The consequences of trying to solve our problems the wrong way far exceeds the patience of weathering the storm and slugging it out. Yes it can feel quite frustrating in the moment, as I've had very challenging lows financially. However, there simply isn't a problem that is insurmountable.
People really should think things through before they take certain kinds of action. The consequences of a bad decision are far reaching. It affects not only the decision maker but also those around one way or the other. I wish fair thought was given to that before people do really dumb things. Of course I am not exempted from those people, but I certainly will think things through if my actions were capable of putting not only myself, but others who I may care about in jeopardy.
