Another day, another life story to share with you guys. I was with someone from our place, and I was so thankful for her presence. My stay here at our new house hasn't been easy. It was chaotic because there are a lot of us here. But being with someone who understands me, and who came from the same place as well, became a relief.
Despite being surrounded by so many people with different behaviors and personalities — especially since we are a mix of Muslims and Christians — I was able to adjust a little because they're somehow friendly and approachable
There are 5 rooms: Room 1, Room 2, Room 3, Room 4, and the Quarantine Room. I belong in the Quarantine Room, the smallest room with the fewest members.
The routine every morning is coffee and bread. But whenever it's our schedule for cleaning, we must wake up early to cook breakfast and boil water for coffee. Viand is not free in the morning, so we really need to buy food outside because I can't go on with life without eating rice. The kitchen is open if we want to cook, but we prefer buying instead. It feels a bit impractical and a waste of money.
We bought pandesal from the store nearest to us to pair with the black coffee. We spent 50 pesos and were shocked that it was a lot, so we shared it with our other roommates.
In the afternoon, my cousin messaged me asking where I was located. It's just amazing how she's only 30 minutes away from me. She insisted on giving me snacks. She booked an app called Lalamove, and in just a few minutes my snacks had arrived. It was creamy and delicious: Maja Blanca, curls, and a juice drink.
On our second day, we visited the market to buy stuff. I was amazed by the huge fish, still moving inside the glass container.
After buying stuff, we decided to head back and passed by a siomai or dumplings stall. My friends bought some, but I didn't because I need to save my money for tomorrow. They insisted on buying me some, but I was really persistent about not eating. I just ate the super sour lemon that my friend has bought. Just when we were walking home, the rain poured again and we had to run so we wouldn't get caught in it. Good thing I was wearing a cap.
When we arrived at the accommodation, it was noisy because everyone was enjoying themselves. Some were singing, dancing, busy with house chores, and just chitchatting with each other. We just sat there, observing and watching the scenery.
I remember my phone's buttons weren't working. I told my friend about it, and she said I should remove the buttons because it's grounded inside, which is why it doesn't work anymore.
That's all for today. Thank you for reading and stopping by. Lovelots 😘
