Today I am happy to share how I made these handmade brown leather sandals. Before I start, I want to specially mention

I started by arranging all the materials and tools that I would use for this work. This helped me prepare everything before I started and made the work easier without any distraction.
I used the top pattern to mark the shape on the thick brown leather. After marking it, I carefully cut it out until I got a clean and neat shape.
After cutting the top, I prepared the fancy that would be fixed on it. I cut the leather into shape and added small leather pieces at both ends so it could hold firmly when fixed on the shoe.
Next, I fixed the fancy on the shoe top. I made the necessary holes and fixed everything properly. This part gave the sandals a finer and more beautiful look.
After that, I took the shoe top to the sewing machine and sewed the edges carefully. Sewing the edges made the top look neat and completed the upper part of the sandals.
Next, I marked the insole pattern on the black faceless and cut it carefully. After that, I placed it on the light brown leather, applied gum where necessary and folded it neatly until it had a smooth finish.
I marked the sole on the noral and cut it into shape. Then I placed the folded insole in the middle of the sole. After that, I applied gum around the edge of the sole and also on the welt. I left them under the sun for about 20 minutes so the gum could dry well before fixing the welt around the sole.
When the welt was fixed, I used the filing machine to smooth all the edges of the sole. This helped to bring out the shape of the sandals and made them look cleaner and more beautiful.
Next, I joined the shoe top with the insole and lasted it properly. Since the customer wears the same size as me, I used my own foot to last the sandals carefully so they would fit the correct size.
After lasting, I applied gum to the back of the upper and also to the sole. I left them to dry for about 35 to 40 minutes. After that, I joined both parts together and used a hammer to press every edge firmly so the gum would hold well.
This is the final look of my handmade brown leather sandals. I was really happy with the finished work, and I loved how everything came out.
It took me about two days to complete this pair of sandals. I enjoyed every part of the work from the beginning to the end. The only part that was a little stressful was taking pictures at every stage. Sometimes I had to stop working for a while just to take a picture before moving to the next step. Even though it took extra time, I was happy because I was able to record the whole process and share it with everyone.
