Chapter Two
I was actually sent on an errand this very day when one of my classmate David a cute guy walked up to me on my way home. He is actually living in our estate but we don't really speak to each other both at home and then at school.
But this very day i was surprised when he approached me..."Hey pretty how have you been it's been a while I have seen you around did you go on a vacation"he asked calmly,
"Nope I didn't, am actually always home all day i don't really like walking around,"
"Ohh okay hmmm.......can we be friends?... actually have wanted to be friends with you since then in school but am really bold enough to ask you if we can," he said calmly again.
I was actually surprised at the question at first but then I answered him giving him a yes answer that we could be friends, been friends is not bad at all and he seems glad with my reply.
Just like that David and I became close friends that my siblings and parents knew we were friends.we do chat each other up keeping late nights on phone speaking to each other and it was actually fun having someone as cute as David as my best friend and I was always happy around him.
Exactly when our relationship was six months he asked me out,it came as a shock but sincerely during the period we were always together i have been developing feelings towards him too.
That very night i just had a cold bath,wore my nighty gown and got back to bed,i picked my phone on the desk and clicked on my whatapp to check messages and then I sighted his message first..."Hey princess how was your day have you eaten dinner,"... my heart was beating so fast the moment I sighted the message but I waved the personal feelings away and replied him.
"Sure sweetie, what about you,"...he texted immediately telling me he just had dinner few minutes ago.
After we chatted about other things and finally when I told him I was about to sleep he texted back immediately saying...."sleepy head,i have something to tell you jorr," I was wondering what he wanted to tell me. Anxiously i texted him back asking me to gist me all about it and he was like........."you and gist sha, well what i want to tell you is that I would like us to be more than friends,".
When I first saw the message my head seems to be confused.."am i thinking wrong Dave I don't understand you,"..i replied back and he answered almost immediately
"Miriam i actually like you not just as a friend but a different feeling entirely, I want us to be lovers..... please would you be my girlfriend,"...
The message was bodly typed but when I clicked and opened it,it seems tiny to read cause I was shocked that a guy actually ask me out, I didn't know it had been almost ten minutes have been thinking When is message suddenly came in bringing me back to reality and I could now sense it wasn't a dream.
"Are you there or asleep already, please i want you to give me an answer princess,".....he texted,
Then I decided to reply telling him I needed time to think about it but he kept urging me to tell him right that moment, but I wasn't even sure of the answer i was suppose to give.
Finally I managed to plead with him to give me until the next day and then he said he was hoping to get a positive answer....But I wasn't sure if I should give the Yes answer or a capital NO.
