It is not enough to dream dreams,if you will not act on it for it to become your reality.
A lot of people with good and beautiful desires died with their desires unfilled, because they are not so much committed to them.
Have you ever wondered why we keep making restitution after restitutions? It is simply because is because our restitution is becoming a mere wishes and not strong desires.
Part of those you aspired to achieve last year are what you transfer to this new year simply because you don't have a strong will to accomplish them.
It you have just only one goal and you stay so much committed to the goal,no matter what,fulfilling such a goal is as sure as death. The problem is not in you having many goals to be fulfilled at a time, but the inability to priorities goal from goals and not been able to stay committed to the goal.
I know for sure,nobody want to die a failure,we all want to be successful, but becoming successful is a matter of 'if' for some people, while it is a must for some others.
You will see people with weak will for success using the word 'if I can have his opportunity, I will do better'. 'If I have a good sponsor, I would have accomplish more'. 'If this' and 'if that'. And with all the 'if'(s),nothing seems to be working for them, even they miss the little opportunity that supposed to come their ways because they are not so prepared for it,they are too busy looking at others. On the other hand,you see those who see
success as a must or their birthright sacrificing a lot to see themselves becoming so successful in whatever field they find themselves. Most of them if not all start from scratch,they believe they can only be helped after they have helped themselves.

Are you willing to be more successful than this? The answer is in your commitment to your dream,you have to be more committed than ever before.
After all,
'it is only a full that keep doing the same thing the same way and be expecting a different result'
We might not have equal opportunities in life,but we do have equal ability to create more opportunities.
Not all are born with silver spoon,but ensure you don't die without having one.

Some people are found of blaming their parents,families or friends for everything that is not working in their lives. They point no finger of blame toward themselves. But hear me my friend and ensure you hear me well,if by now you are still blaming your parents for every of your failures,what do you think your own children will do if they meet things like this? Rather than you blaming your parents which has not given you the result you think you deserved, why not work on how to change the tide so that your own children would have a different story to tell.

I dont buy into this lie,because you are the only catalyst of change that can change your environment. You decide what the environment should say about you. Do you realise that some people are flying high even in that same environment! Why not you?

Stop seeing your environment and start seeing your goal. The issue of environment is one of the limiting factors limiting us in Africa. An average African don't see themselves as equal as their other counterpart from the rest of the world. The issue is that,most of those people we envied out there really desired to have what we have! If they were given half the opportunity we have,they would have a far better result than we are having.
While we keep complaining about our environment, those out there keep taking the advantage of the same environment we complained about.
No matter how terrible the environment might be, what is guaranteed is that something can still work there! Look for what is working in your environment and work on it,then the environment will start to dance to the tune of your music.

We have some other categories of people too who believe the government should take all the blames for not making the lives of her people better.
The question is, can any government make the life of her people better? No!
No government will make your life better!
The responsibility to make your life better
in your hand.
The highest the government can do is to create opportunities in term of employment, social amenities and the likes, it is now up to you to take the advantage of such opportunities provided by the government to serve your dream.
Some governments are terribly bad,Yes! I agree,but stop looking up to any government for a better life,that is not their responsibility, that is your responsibility!
On the final note....
If you can't change it yourself,then it can't be changed for you.
