20.10.2020 started out as a normal day, workers went to their place of work, students went to School, everybody went to their various places of work but nobody anticipated how that gory day would end.
There was a normal violent-free protest that day, youths were protesting, END SARS!!!!! They shouted at the top of their voices, for those that don't know what sars means let me explain it to you.
Sars which stands for special anti- robbery squad is a special force whose job is to deal with crimes related to robbery, car theft etc.
But instead of carrying out their jobs they deviated and started a new job " Accusing any youth they see with cars and wealth of being fraudstars", They would arrest, torture and eventually end the life of that youth and nothing would happen, it got to a point that youths said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, nation wide VIOLENT FREE protests started, youths made their voices heard. Parents shouted STOP KILLING OUR CHILDREN!!!!!, Soro soke (speak up) was the slang of the day, it was peaceful until......
Lekki toll gate in lagos was a venue for the protest, thousands of youths gathered in unity and shouted END SARS!!!!, But unknown to them the government who are meant to protect them ordered military men to ........ 馃挃馃挃.
The details are too gory to narrate and I don't want to violate ink well rules so I am going to stop here.
RIP to the fallen heroes who went to meet their creator early, I hope their souls rest in peace and I pray one day their families would get the justice they deserve. 馃挃馃挃
