Ingredients

For the Boraks:
馃悢 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
馃珤 1 tablespoon olive oil
馃 3 cloves garlic, minced
馃 1 large onion, chopped
馃珣 1 green bell pepper, diced
馃珣 1 orange bell pepper, diced
馃尞 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
馃尶 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
馃崑 Juice of 1/2 lemon
馃 Shredded cheese (your favorite variety)
馃尟 14-15 flour tortillas
馃珤 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)

For the Avocado Cilantro Lime Sauce:
馃 1 avocado
馃尪 1 jalape帽o
馃尶 Cilantro, to taste
馃 1/2 cup mayonnaise
馃 1/4 cup sour cream
馃崑 Juice of 1/2 lime
馃 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1- Prepare the Boraks:

  • Preheat your oven to 350掳F (175掳C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, and both diced bell peppers. Saut茅 for a few minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  • Add the shredded chicken and taco seasoning to the skillet. Stir to combine, cooking everything for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lemon over the chicken mixture. Add the chopped cilantro and mix well. Remove from heat.
  • Place a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon some of the chicken mixture onto the middle of the tortilla. Sprinkle with cheese, then roll it up tightly. Place seam side down on the prepared baking tray.
  • Repeat for the remaining tortillas and filling.
  • Brush the tops of the rolled tortillas with the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the boraks are golden brown.

2- Make the Avocado Cilantro Lime Sauce:

  • In a blender, combine the avocado, jalape帽o, cilantro, mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and salt.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
