That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10.
Through the grace of God we become Christian, not as a result of any effort, intelligent, or act of service on our part. Salvation is a free gift from God. All we have to do is to receive it by faith believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth the lordship of Jesus Christ over our lives.
Jesus is the son of God who came into this world to die for our sins that we may be free from sin and death. The Bible says in Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Man lost his authority and dominating power over the earth because of Adam's sin, thus putting them under the influence of the devil and the things of this earth. That is why man is not free from sickness, diseases, afflictions, lack, oppression, sin and death today but thanks be unto God who still loves us so much that He sent Jesus, His only begotten son to come die for us all and whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have enternal life (John 3:16).
Christ miraculously destroyed the penalty of sin and it's power over us when He died on the cross and rose up from the dead after three days. Through faith in Christ we stand blameless or acquitted before God. Receiving Jesus Christ into your life is receiving salvation, thus making you born again and a child of God. Giving you a life of the supernatural, free from condemnation to reign over all the vices and evil in this world.
Jesus is coming back again to pour out the wrath of God on those who have rejected God's word. So I urge you today to repentance, it's not too late to receive Jesus Christ into your life. Now is your time and the best time to do so. Don't think otherwise, tomorrow may be too late. Salvation is free.
I invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying this:
"O Lord God, I believe with my heart in Jesus Christ, son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He's alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His name, I have eternal life; I'm born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I'm now a child of God. Hallelujah!
