Look at this picture very well.
A small pawn stands before a mirror....... But inside the mirror, the refleection is not a pawnn. It is a King. Bold. Standing tall. And the words on the mirror say YOU VS YOU.
This is the deepest truth about life.
Many people think the battle is outside. Thinking that the enemy is the government, the economy, the friend who is ahead, the family that does not support, the boss that is wicked. But the real battle has never been outside. It has always been inside.
The pawn is not fighting another piece on the board. The pawn is facing itself.
That pawn represents many people today. Small in positiion, overlookeed, underedstimated, feelingg like nothingg. But the mirror is showingg what is possible. Every pawn has the potentiall to become a Kingg, but onlyy if it keeps movingg forward. In chess, a pawn that refusees to move will never become anythingg. A pawn that keeps movingg, one step at a timme, will one day reach the end and becomme a 👑 Kingg.
That is how growth works.
It is not about competing with others. The King in the mirror is not another person. It is the future version of the pawn. The better version. The stronger version. The disciplined version.
YOU VS YOU means:
- Victory over laziness
- Victory over fear
- Victory over excuses
- Victory over procrastination
- Victory over the habit of comparing with others
No one can fight that battle for anyone. No mentor, no pastor, no friend can fight it. It is personal.
The question is not "who is better than you?" The question is "are you better than who you were yesterday?"
If the answeer is yes, then the pawn is alreaddy on the way to becomingg a King.
Keep moving..... Keep growing...... The mirror is already showingg the future.
