Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge - Animated Corpse

This week we are featuring the Death Splinter monster called Animated Corpse.
Splinterlore
A fledgling Dark Eternal is also known as an Animated Corpse. Emerging from the Tar Pits of Creation in the Southern Waste of Mortis, each fledgling must first shed what remains of its mortal flesh. While in decay, the Animated Corpses are placed on the front lines to speed their transition.

I have never really used this card very much because I don't have a very good death splinter collection but this monster has some decent stats for only a 4 mana level monster.

This is a 12 mana level battle with all splinters allowed.
I have 3 cards in this battle against 3.

Battle Line Up
This is my best choice for a summoner from the Death Splinter and his -1 Melee ability can be very effective.
The featured monster will be my tank for this battle. This is quite a risky strategy really. Hopefully he will stay alive long enough to get a few good hits in before Haunted Spirit can take front position and finish them off.
The heal ability makes Haunted Spirit a great choice for lower mana level battles and I would usually have him up front as my Tank.
Never forget your Chicken!!
The chicken will act as cannon fodder for any sneak attacks from the enemy.
Always willing to lay down her life for the team :)
Battle Walkthrough
As the warriors enter the arena we get our first look at the enemies line up and I am feeling pretty confident of a victory!
His tank only has 1 hit point and less health than Animated Corpse so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Round 1 sees Animated Corpse taking hits from all 3 of the enemies team before getting a -2 hit in at the enemies tank the Cocatrice. He now has only 2 health left from 6!
Round 2 begins with the enemies Peacebringer delivering a devastating -2 ranged attack blow to Animated Corpse.
Now Haunted Spirit takes the tank position and easily takes hits from all 3 enemies due to the Healing Ability which allows him to restore a portion of health each round.
This round comes to a triumphant end with Haunted Spirit destroying Cocatrice.
In round 3 Haunted Spirit again takes hits from the remaining 2 enemy monsters before retaliating with a blow to Enchanted Pixie leaving it with only 1 health.
My victory is now pretty much guaranteed as Haunted Spirit wipes out Enchanted Pixie at the end of round 4.
In round 5 Haunted Spirit heals himself before attacking Peacebringer for -2 hit points.
For some reason there is a glitch with this battle replay as it doesn't show round 6!!
In round 6 we see a repeat of the last round leaving Peacebringer with only 2 health.
Victory is mine!!
This was an enjoyable battle and I would definitely use this card in a similar line up in the future.
