My street is called "Quetepe", sector San Francisco, located in the upper area of the historic center of Cumaná- Sucre State- Venezuela; it is a steep street with 3 entrances and 3 exits, a main entrance where you can get there in vehicles (cars and motorcycles) and two entrances where you can only get there walking. One exit leads to Sucre street with Santa Inés church, another one leads to Urica street with Ribero square and the last one leads to Badaracco Bermúdez avenue.
In the middle of this street is the first cemetery of the city of Cumaná- Sucre State- Venezuela, built in colonial times, also called "cemetery of the Spaniards", now converted into a square, called "Plaza Quetepe".
This cemetery was built with stone walls that support its entire structure, according to history it is said that there lie the remains of the paternal grandfather of our GREAT MARISCAL OF AYACUCHO, ANTONIO JOSE DE SUCRE.
Most of the people who were buried in this cemetery in colonial times died of cholera, which was a deadly disease that became an epidemic.
We also find in this street, the main entrance to the castle "Santa Maria de la Cabeza", which borders the back of the Santa Ines Church.
This castle in colonial times was the residence of the governors of the city of Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela.
My childhood, my adolescence and my adulthood, I have lived in this street where I have the best memories and experiences with family and friends. Currently, what used to be the cemetery and the square is a sports field where children and teenagers practice different sports.

Mi calle se llama "Quetepe", sector San Francisco, ubicada en la zona alta del centro histórico de Cumaná- Estado Sucre- Venezuela; es una calle empinada con 3 entradas y 3 salidas, una entrada principal por donde se puede llegar en vehículos (carros y motos) y dos entradas por donde solo se puede llegar caminando. Una salida da a la calle Sucre con la iglesia Santa Inés, otra da a la calle Urica con la plaza Ribero y la última da a la avenida Badaracco Bermúdez.
En medio de esta calle se encuentra el primer cementerio de la ciudad de Cumaná- Estado Sucre- Venezuela, construido en la época colonial, también llamado "cementerio de los españoles", hoy convertido en plaza, llamada "Plaza Quetepe".
Este cementerio fue construido con muros de piedra que sostienen toda su estructura, según la historia se dice que allí reposan los restos del abuelo paterno de nuestro GRAN MARISCAL DE AYACUCHO, ANTONIO JOSE DE SUCRE.
La mayoría de las personas que fueron enterradas en este cementerio en la época colonial murieron de cólera, enfermedad mortal que se convirtió en epidemia.
También encontramos en esta calle, la entrada principal al castillo "Santa María de la Cabeza", que colinda con la parte posterior de la Iglesia de Santa Inés.
Este castillo en la época colonial fue la residencia de los gobernadores de la ciudad de Cumaná, Estado Sucre, Venezuela.
Mi niñez, mi adolescencia y mi adultez, las he vivido en esta calle donde tengo los mejores recuerdos y vivencias con familiares y amigos. Actualmente lo que fue el cementerio y la plaza, es una cancha deportiva en dónde los niños y adolescentes practican diferentes deportes.
