After a day's rain, the sun returned, so it was quite hot again today. Weatherwise, it's been very frustrating as it's either been too wet to go out or too bloody hot.
For my #wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay, we walked through the local park. We kept finding little positive notes that had been left by someone.
This was my favourite, 'forget the mistake, remember the lesson'. It's nice that someone has done random acts of kindness.
The rhododendrons and azaleas were in full bloom, and the bees were taking full advantage of them.
Walking around the lake, there was a mallard duck and a rainbow trout fighting for bread that had been thrown in by people.
The little ducklings are all growing up fast.
The pond always attracts the Canada geese that were basking in the sun.
I'm not a big fan of roses but I did like the colour of this one.
The foxglove, also called lady’s glove is usually frequented by bees. You can see their bums sticking out of the flowers, but not today!
This lovely park has plenty of green space, a lake, children's play area, bowling green and a nearby cafe. There's something for everybody.
