Mi a帽o comienza activo y es que no tenemos tiempo para perder, as铆 que hoy me vine a las terapias con mis ni帽os y en esta ocasi贸n me acompa帽a mi hija mayor Ammy, a quien ustedes ya conocen, ella ma帽ana inicia clases. Ammy ama venir a este lugar, por los colores, el clima y la tranquilidad que hay aqu铆 y tambi茅n porque puede jugar mientras acompa帽a a mam谩.
Joaqu铆n ha superado todas las expectativas, cerr贸 el a帽o muy bien, solo le falta hablar y 茅l sabe hacerlo, lo hemos escuchado, as铆 que este a帽o el plan de acci贸n es inscribirlo en una terapia de lenguaje, as铆 sea paga mientras nos dan una cita para 茅l en el hospital. Esto quiz谩s no sea por mucho tiempo, es para alentarlo y que tenga un impulso que lo motive a hacerlo y as铆 poderlo ayudar y entender mejor.

My year begins active and is that we have no time to waste, so today I came to therapies with my children and this time I am accompanied by my eldest daughter Ammy, whom you already know, she starts classes tomorrow. Ammy loves to come to this place, because of the colors, the weather and the tranquility here and also because she can play while she accompanies mommy.
Joaquin has surpassed all expectations, he closed the year very well, he only needs to talk and he knows how to do it, we have listened to him, so this year the plan of action is to enroll him in a speech therapy, even if it is paid while we get an appointment for him at the hospital. This may not be for a long time, it is to encourage him and give him an impulse to motivate him to do it so we can help him and understand him better.
Amelie ha dado grandes pasos, este mes de diciembre emparej贸 un objeto y eso fue algo que me sorprendi贸 much铆simo. Por otra parte ya mantiene un poco m谩s la concentraci贸n y aunque a煤n siguen los estereotipos, ella con cada terapia avanza un poco m谩s, esto es algo que nos llena de alegr铆a. El 29 de diciembre tuvo su primera cita con Psico Rehabilitaci贸n y este tambi茅n es otro avance, estamos esperando sus nuevas consultas con neurolog铆a y psicolog铆a, este a帽o 2024.
Por otra parte, ella tambi茅n comenzar谩 a recibir nuevamente, terapias de lenguaje, est谩 vez con otra terapeuta, ya que la que tuvo hace a帽os, solo la pon铆a a pintar, al punto de agotarla y que Amelie ya no quisiera nunca m谩s hacer trazos o pintar algo. As铆 que esperamos que en este nuevo tiempo todo sea mejor para ella. Amelie fue diagnosticada como Autista no verbal, sin embargo ella si ha dicho palabras, como pap谩, mam谩, agua y pan, adem谩s de balbucear, as铆 que es un buen indicio.
Los d铆as martes nuestra jornada de terapias es m谩s completa. Debo ir a la cl铆nica con los dos ni帽os, luego volver a casa y alistar de nuevo a Amelie, para irme con ella sola al hospital a su terapia ocupacional, mientras la abuela cuida de Joaqu铆n. As铆 que este 2024, iniciamos con todas las ganas.
Amelie has made great strides, this December she matched an object and that was something that surprised me a lot. On the other hand, she is already concentrating a little more and although the stereotypes are still present, she is making progress with each therapy, this is something that fills us with joy. On December 29th she had her first appointment with Psycho Rehabilitation and this is also another advance, we are waiting for her new consultations with neurology and psychology, this year 2024.
On the other hand, she will also begin to receive speech therapy again, this time with another therapist, since the one she had years ago, only made her paint, to the point of exhausting her and Amelie never wanted to draw or paint anything anymore. So we hope that in this new time everything will be better for her. Amelie was diagnosed as non-verbal Autistic, however she has said words, such as dada, mama, water and bread, as well as babbling, so that is a good sign.
On Tuesdays our therapy day is fuller. I have to go to the clinic with both children, then come home and get Amelie ready again, to go with her alone to the hospital for her occupational therapy, while grandma takes care of Joaquin. So this 2024, we start with all our heart.
