We were just working on the computer when my husband looked up and saw this. I grabbed my iPhone and snapped several pics, but these two were the best. (taken through patio door glass)
Last summer, all of the deer pretty much disappeared from here as we have a family of three cougars that had wiped out the population. It does my heart good to see a mama and her baby again. The cougar family, I am hoping, has moved up to the high country for the summer, or hopefully is roaming another portion of their territory. I'd like to see this little one have a chance to grow up.
They will have enough of a challenge surviving the cars and hunters.
