On the right track……. to celebrate 
That being said, it was his wish to go to Boulevard Park at Bellingham Bay and take a hike from Bellingham to Fairhaven and visit the Marine Park there. We do this several times a year and we’d yet to go this year. It’s a nice boardwalk hike over the bay waters and a trail or two to hike to the little park in Fairhaven.
It was a gloriously sunny day and due to be a bit hotter than yesterday. It’s always more temperate at the bay.

At the Marine Park, I was looking for a rock for my collection that I plan to paint in the future when I found an unexpected cutie among the rocks!
He was running all over the place and as I watched him, I spotted more variations of them. I’d never noticed them in the previous years we’ve been coming here! That would be enough to make me think twice about putting a beach towel down and laying there, lol!
It was beginning to get hot, so we headed back and stopped at the coffee shop to get some iced coffee refreshments and gluten free blueberry scones! Yummy! 😎
Fairhaven has a dragon guarding the street!
