TGIF! A busy day at work, but it’s the weekend now and it’s time to recharge!
After a few errands after work I headed home and made my usual flavored mocha. Then, it was time to hike
The three of us headed out with flashlights, although it was earlier than yesterday. We were still out in the dark.
The pic behind the Fitbit stats is of the town of Everson just as darkness fell. You can see it from the top of the first big hill we climb. It twinkles in the darkness.
We headed up the upper trail and made it to the first fork in the trail before turning back. At on point I had to turn on my flashlight and Jan followed suit, as the trail was going downhill. One misstep, and you might find yourself at the bottom faster than you intended!

Big Leaf Maples are everywhere here in the Northwest. I found this leaf while climbing up ‘the hill’.
