Today saw us getting up early to pick up Jan and head out for church and worship team practice. For the moment, the team consists of @silvertop, Jan and myself. Practice went smoothly and everything was ready. Then when service time arrived we were all shocked to hear nothing! The sound system wasn’t working. So we first thought it might have just been a battery issue with the pastor’s mic. Turned out it wasn’t but I didn’t realize that the worship team’s channels weren’t working either as my in ear monitors were working great. After the whole worship set was done was when I realized it was farther reaching than originally thought. So after a bit of trouble shooting I sat down to leave it to @silvertop as there were too many chiefs in the kitchen so to speak. He was able to locate the problem during the intro to the sermon; apparently the’ mains’ cable had been knocked out of a DI box. There was only one person around the whole thing before service so it had to be him who inadvertently pushed it hard enough to disconnect it. We are headed there tomorrow to make some alterations to the DI box so this sort of thing can’t happen again.
To top it all off, I was trying a different sort of milk in my mocha as generally I cannot drink milk any longer. I am always looking for a work around, but in this case ( and I am now officially giving up trying to find milk that works for me) when I steamed it, it turned it sour 😖 So I had zero coffee until after 1 PM!😳 NOT a good thing by that time of day.
We got home and I immediately made a coffee. How do you spell relief?! Then it was off for our hike. The weather forecast said nothing but clouds, but as luck would have it, it rained on us. We did get the hike done but were a bit wet.

Now it’s Steemit and Actifit time. Dinner’s in there too. Then it’ll be off to bed!
