I got up this morning and headed for work. I had an appointment with a new frame rep who’s company is locally owned and new. They have some really nice frames and they are extremely affordable which means I can offer them to our patients at a good cost. I am pleased to help a local company and my patients at the same time. Everybody wins!
The day had dawned grey and rain again, but surprisingly by mid afternoon, the sun had come out. I was really surprised to see it as the forecast had originally called for rain and nothing but! So, after a quick stop at the local grocery and the post office, I was on my way home.
We got ready to go hiking, and just about the time I was going to call Jan to let her know we were good to go, our son called. He was upset over his wife’s previous employer’s handling of a W-2. We talked and helped him the best we could. Then we called Jan and headed out.
Amazingly, it didn’t rain, as has been the history of the nighttime country roads hiking! Yippee! After the hike, we came home to work on the worship set for Sunday. We are incorporating a drum kit out of my keyboard, and I have to say, it’s pretty cool! I’ve jokingly called us, “Me, myself, and you” (you for Mike). Anyway, it takes something I love and adds an element of extra added enjoyment of making music and worshiping God.
