Hi guys! Great day today as the weather was awesome! It was sunny and mild with a bit of a breeze.
After church, we headed out for our long hike. Everything was still so wet from yesterday’s rain. We’d run into muggy areas and then drier ones. We also ran into a couple of small piles of fresh bear scat which makes me wonder if we’re looking at an adult with a little bit of the runs or a baby. I think I’d prefer the adult with NO baby! It might be safer that way.
This weekend has been riddled with my phone having issues and now tonight, suddenly my hotspot isn’t working. Thank goodness we have two with that capability! There is no cable or DSL where were at. Our choices are dial up (yeah right), cellphone hotspot or satellite internet. We don’t have the satellite internet but I’m seriously thinking about it!
These little guys come out after the rain, and I learned a long time ago; if you see one, stop and pick it up and move it because by the time you come back by on the way down, they haven't gone too far and are at risk of being stepped on. Today, I moved 5 of them out of harms way. My husband calls me 'snail saver', lol!
