This year, too, we went to Croatia for the long-awaited vacation to the town of Pirovac. This is our fourth year in Pirovac.

Why are we going back there?

The people are very friendly
The sea and the coast are close
We know everything from restaurants to shops
We feel welcome there
Beautiful surroundings and peace, even if we forget about worries and problems for just one week

Here is some information about Pirovac

The municipality of Pirovac covers 41 square kilometers, has about 2,000 inhabitants, and they live in three settlements:

Pirovac, Kašić and Putičanje (the latter two have a total of just over 200 inhabitants).

The famous road, the Adriatic Highway, runs along Pirovac. Pirovac is only 23 kilometers away from Šibenik. If we want to go north, to Pakostane, we will have to cover about 17 kilometers.

We have only a 10-kilometer route to Vodice and Tisno on the island of Murter, and about 15 kilometers to the town of Murter or Betina (on the same island). The Kornati and Krka National Parks and the Vrana Lake Nature Park are also quite close to Pirovac.
