Hola, comunidad.
Hello, community. Thank you for this space. Today I want to write about a special friend, one who passed through my life in such a short time, but who stayed in my memory forever. I am talking about **Daniel Perez**, someone who made me laugh, cry, take care of so many things as if I were his mother, in fact, that's what he called me sometimes, as I called him, son, even though I was only four years older than him.

I met him in singing lessons. By that time, in 2014, I started singing studies at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Acarigua. Our teacher's name is Patricia Torres and she is an excellent teacher. But well, although first it was him, later other guys joined me calling me mom (hahaha), which finally were 7. We had a very nice friendship, but also very short.
El grupo de muchachos que se autonombraron mis hijos, jajaja
Daniel, I was told, was my favorite, but it was because he was in need and was the one who sought me out the most. He told me many of his secrets. I remember having nightmares with very marked elements that were evident to me as to their meaning, I would let him know and he would listen to me attentively. He also had problems at home, and wished he had a more loving family, but, even so, he loved his relatives and they loved him. It got to the point where we would go with each other to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping and different errands. We went out together a lot, always finding something to do. We talked about everything. Until the day came to look for a job for him, and I helped him stay. I remember I was happy to iron his pants for him, but it was the only place he had to go alone. And so it was. From then on we hardly saw each other, only talked on the phone, but he was still nice. Anyway, we were able to celebrate his 18th birthday and it was spectacular.
Una pancarta que le hicimos con mucho amor.
One thing she suffered from was that she liked men, although she had had girlfriends. She had told me this about halfway through our friendship. As a Christian I had a duty to tell him about God's love and what His word says about it. He read, listened and agreed, he also knew that what he saw in his nightmares was a clear call from God on his life, but still expressed what he wanted to be and do. As time went by he began to distance himself from me, I was not hard on him nor did I ever turn my back on him, but for him it was preferable to distance himself a little to continue his life without thinking about anything else. I respected his decision, of course, but if he needed me I would always be there. When we saw each other, we would embrace affectionately, but we understood that we were each going our own way, not thinking that the clock of his life was soon destined to stop.
One day, a friend called me to tell me the sad news that he had died. He was one of the first to hear the news, so it didn't take him long to tell me. When I heard the news from him, I couldn't believe it, so I wrote to his mother and she confirmed it. He suffered a gastric infarction (since all he had were his kidneys and stomach). According to what I was told, he went to bed, like so many other times, tired of so much work and never got up again. He left many family members, friends, classmates and coworkers with great sadness. He was a very good friend, an unconditional person.
For me it was a very hard blow but I understand that this was the limit of life he had been granted. I thank God for allowing me to be his friend.
