I usually spend Christmas with my maternal family, however this time it was different, I decided to change the routine of every year and spend Christmas Eve with my paternal family, which consists of my father, my grandparents, my brother and two aunts who are currently in the country. It was a simple and very nice night where we brought up all the memories of years ago where I was younger and enjoyed these festivities to the fullest.
The meeting point for this reunion was my grandmother's house and since there are only a few members of the family, they started arriving around 8:30 pm, at that time I was already getting dressed and getting ready to take pictures with my grandmother while the rest of the family arrived to start the celebration.
It wasn't long after when my aunts arrived so we took many pictures but the photographer was my grandfather and as he doesn't know how to handle a cell phone they were blurry and blurry hehehe so these few that you see along the post were some of the few that were in focus 😂💗but what counts is the beauty of their intention.
After a small photo session we began to enjoy the Christmas dinner which consists of the typical dish of the season; hallaca (dough with chicken, pork, meat - stew) and of course the traditional chicken salad, a really delicious dinner that I enjoyed with my family and my loved ones, I regret not having taken pictures before tasting hahaha but this is what we ate.
It was a different Christmas than I am used to but at the same time very fun because we did several interactive activities such as the "promise game" where we had to promise an aspect of our life that we should improve and so on and so on.
I must confess that even though we felt the emptiness of my cousins at the table since they are in different parts of the world but still the joy, love and affection that we feel for them remains present in our hearts.
And this was all friends, thanks for reading me, see you next time bye bye
