After 8 months on Steemit, joining groups, leaving groups...meeting new friends, sorting through what I actually read and noticing others by name because they talk with me often on my posts, or theirs...
I have started seriously culling who I follow. Not because I have Any issues with the ones I am unfollowing, but more so because I would like my feed to show posts I really want to read and upvote.
Following hundreds and thousands of people is fun, and looking for new people is awesome...but my favorites get lost in the shuffle too often and I find I miss their posts.
So, if you are here because you noticed I unfollowed you, please don't feel it is anything you have or have not done.
I wish there were two, Follow, and then a separate section for Favorites. Then we could see our favorite posters, but yet still have the general list of people we follow because we do like their posts, but maybe don't read every one.
