I just came across #TarotTuesday via a post isaria@isaria shared on a new deck, and realized I have not done any tarot posts here yet.
There are some great tarot tuesday posts, with random choice readings...very fun :)

The way I go into tarot here might be a bit different, as I prefer to do a card a day and go over it in-depth with personal associations. Possibly some comparative tarot referencing the same card in various decks.

To begin, I am using the Mystic Dreamer deck by Heidi Darras and Barbara Moore. I love the art and symbolism used in this deck so will possibly stick with it for a while.

So I began shuffling, and the Hermit jumped out. I will explain why in a bit...then I pulled two more cards...

The Hermit represents my position, where I am not one to jump in, per se...especially in group esoteric events. I prefer to keep a fair distance to avoid energetic entanglements that disrupt my own studies, and dreaming. So this card is pretty much a WTF are you doing??? card...

To respect the jumper, I then asked 'what is the collective energy flowing through Steemit that the others seemed to be picking up on?' and we have the Ten of Swords...(things really are as bad as they seem)

'What will help to break free of this?' and we have the Star.

Now my quick interp is that the cards are telling me to keep a distance, that I know better than to get involved in group reading because, we are all readers...the cards will sync, we will read the collective energy as a whole of readers and the larger community of Steemit. This happens, because tarot really does work. And in the Star, we see that the way out of the collective is to reach for our individuality, what makes us shine within ourselves.

Numerically we have 9+10+17 = 36 - 9 Hermit again which shows me it is the cards talking at me, not really others.

Don't get me wrong here though...group connections that can be seen so easily can be fun. It can bring readers together and how awesome is it to share these experiences, right? I really do have fun with it too.

But this will hopefully show why I do keep some distance. Maybe these things do not happen as strongly with others as they do with me...but not only will my cards sync up, but I will start seeing the other readers...dreaming their dreams, knowing when they are sad, happy, fearful...it increases over time.

Over the years people have told me I need to put up shields...but that would be counter productive to my personal studies. So instead, I will share in the group here and there, then retreat, before too much starts coming in :)

On to the the Card of the Day...Two of Wands...

Wands 02.jpg

The key words are Watch and Wait

When I read the cards, I do read the images as well as the base meanings. I find that they show the story, just as the card interactions and the hidden energies which flow behind the cards do.

If this card were to appear in a reading, I would see the double archways and know there are choices which are still out of sight. One solid and one more fluid, one intuitive and one based in the mind. She is semi-protected with the small wall, and though she is waiting, she is actively working to draw the second wand to her...working consciously with the energetic movements to bring the correct choice to her. The two shows she remains balanced as she moves her world.

I cannot give an actual interp though, because that would depend on what the surrounding cards were, and what the Querrant was asking.

Thanks for reading :) I will try and do one card each day...if you would like to add in the same card from your deck in the comments, or a different view on the card, please do!

On Tuesdays I will be sure not to look at the other readings before I do mine...so we will see how it goes.
