Hey dear Hive community, I hope you all have a great time and generally a good weekend. For the #monomad challenge, I have taken some pictures and edited them into black and white format and would like to present them here in this post!
A very nostalgic old boathouse can be seen here, which is located on a small pond and I think creates a nice atmosphere. On the jetty you can also see two ducks soaking up some sun, it is a mallard couple (Anas platyrhynchos) and the front brown one is the female. As always, I still attach the original picture below, so you can see it better. I think the ducks feel very comfortable in this place because they can live and breed there undisturbed.
The boathouse is no longer in use but was very authentically decorated as I think with an old fishing boat and under the roof hangs a small nesting box, which offers a home for birds. I was very pleased to be able to photograph this classic boathouse which convinces with its beautiful architectural style.
