Good evening Hive friends, I hope you are all well and your mood is also passable! I took some pictures during one of my last walks and converted them to black and white and this is my entry for the #monomad Challenge.
My entry presents one of the first early flowering plants of this year and probably one of the best known. The plant that can be seen here is called daisy (Bellis perennis) and it is also an old healing plant that is strongly anchored mythologically and goes back to the ancient Germanic, in Nordic mythology daisy was dedicated to the goddess of spring Ostara.
In small quantities, the plant is medically effective but side effects can occur in larger quantities, this is due to the contained substances flavone and cosmosiin. You should therefore always inform yourself well and ask a doctor, before playing with the idea of taking it!
Daisy begins to bloom from January and February and bloom practically all year round, depending on the weather until about November on average, the distribution area is large and daisy is widespread in North America, New Zealand, Africa, Europe and Asia. The plant is also known in symbolism and it symbolizes loyalty, love and purity and should also give courage and willpower.
Many thanks for watching! I captured all these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens!
