When I came with my family to live temporalily at my mom's house we brought our furniture, beds, clothes, toys, books, kitchen utensils, and even building materials.
We also brought many potted plants, some of them ornamental and fruit trees that we later managed to plant on our land.

Palm trees often grew in these pots, perhaps from seeds carried by the wind, by animals, or from the soil in the nursery.
