As I walked through one of the small plazas inside the hotel, a simple scene caught my attention. In the middle of the open area stood a large flowerpot with an ornamental plant, quietly receiving the full strength of the morning sun.
The sunlight projected the silhouette of both the flowerpot and the plant onto the pavement, creating a well-defined shadow. The leaves added delicate shapes to the composition, while the flowerpot provided a solid base that gave balance to the image. Together, they formed a shadow that was just as attractive as the plant itself.
I enjoy discovering scenes like this because they remind me that beauty is often found in the smallest details. A decorative plant that many people pass without noticing became, for a few moments, the perfect subject for this edition of the Shadow Hunters contest.
The photos were taken with my mobile phone, and for the English version I used Google Translate.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga
Mientras caminaba por una de las pequeñas plazoletas del hotel, una escena sencilla llamó mi atención. En el centro del lugar había una maceta con una planta ornamental que recibía de lleno la luz del sol de la mañana.
La luz proyectaba sobre el pavimento la silueta de la maceta y de la planta, formando una sombra bien definida. Las hojas aportaban formas delicadas a la composición, mientras que la maceta le daba firmeza y equilibrio al conjunto. Entre ambas creaban una sombra tan interesante como la propia planta.
Me gusta descubrir escenas como esta porque me recuerdan que la belleza muchas veces se encuentra en los detalles más simples. Una planta decorativa, que muchas personas pasarían por alto, se convirtió por unos instantes en la protagonista perfecta para esta edición del concurso Shadow Hunters.
