The stuff in the jar smelled like wet dog and stale farts with a light citrusy undertone. But the hot 21-year-old at the counter promised it would nourish, hydrate and rejuvenate her skin. She held her nose and dug in. She'd show them all.
I read somewhere once that we're all the oldest we've ever been and the youngest we'll ever be. The thing is, there is an immense pressure on people to not age outwardly past 25 or so and it has to appear natural even though the celebrities who drive these trends have access to all sorts of almost supernatural help. My advice (for what it's worth) would be to let your actions towards yourself be driven by love, whether that means trying the stinky wrinkle cream or leaving it on the shelf.
