On that fateful day, the operations manager returned from a trip exhausted. However, another task was yearning for his attention. That was to fix the factory Boiler Chimney. The closing top jacket was removed, and it became difficult to locate it.
After searching profusely for the top funnel-like closure to no avail, he returned to his office with some of his boys to drink a cup of water while he called the control room to check the CCTV for it.
While on the call, the general manager stepped in and requested an update regarding the repairs. He informed him that the boys were still searching for the cover.
At that instant, he asked him for the closest location to the boiler plant, and he said the canal. He then said, with a grin, "Look for it in the canal and left for his office. Immediately, he left, an IT employee entered the operations manager’s office with a smile, saying repeatedly, “Lost but found.” Lost but found.
The operations manager heaved a sigh of relief and asked, “Where? Where did you find it? The guy responded, “ Found it in the canal.” With that feedback, the maintenance guys went back to work and fixed the boiler chimney cover without wasting more time.
Everybody went home that day happy that the lost Boiler chimney cover was found and fixed.
