I read "The Upward Spiral" in 2018 and it helped me see gratitude in a whole new light. It's not just about being polite, it's actually psychologically beneficial to experience and express gratitude. That being said, I wrote this poem after a particularly crappy day at work. I don't even remember what happened that day but that's not the point. I guess it takes effort to embody gratitude while still acknowledging situations you feel like complaining about and actively want to change. I'm working on that still.
On another note, I'd like to send a round of applause to everyone who's been manifesting abundance with Hive in mind ✨.
