Hello, Splinter Fanatics!

Splinterlands is an amazing Card Game and if you happen to have parachuted in here, this is the best #play2earn out there. And this post is an event held weekly to promote the Splinterlands universe on social media.

This week the Weekly Challenge will be open to any Dagron Splinter card, in Splinterlands there are [06] Splinters: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dagrão and Neutral

The Dagron Splinter is the most versatile among the Splinters, as it allows you to select cards from another available Splinter, in addition to the Neutral Splinter Of course.

Dagrons are mystical and powerful creatures, but most of the time they have a high mana cost to be summoned on the field. This is perhaps one of the negative points of these creatures.

Therefore, most of the time they are seen in battles with high mana available, above 50 mana it is difficult to use powerful dagraons on the battlefield.

While there are daggers with low mana costs, the Splinter of Dagrons has always been synonymous with power, so it will be common to battle them when the ruleset has high mana available.

In the image below, I present to you some Legendary Dagrons, which although they are powerful have a high mana cost, which is acceptable given their power.

In today's Challenge, the chosen Dagrão was Agor Longtail, to invoke this card its cost is [15] fifteen mana 😱. However, its power is absurd because it has two types of attack: melee it's magic .

Ready to meet this powerful monster?

It's a card any player would envy to have in their deck. Agor Longtail is a dagraon that has (3) melee attack and (2) magic attack, (3) speed, (6) armor, (11) health, in addition to *Flying abilities * , Taunt and Void Armor . All those stats and abilities at level 1 alone, is it worth the 15 mana cost?

To make this card even more amazing, at level 3 it acquires the Heal ability , already at maximum level it increases to (3) its magic attack. No words for this Dagrão it is simply amazing!

Under normal conditions, Rulesets Standard , the best position to climb our dagrão is in the first position, as both types of attacks are used, melee and magic . However, with Rulesets Super Sneak , Melee Mayhem and Opportunity this card can be placed in the last position.

But you might be wondering "More why not put it in any position?". For the simple fact that Agor Longtail has the ability Taunt , that draw all attacks to itself (when possible). And this is a danger, because if the opponent uses cards with the ability Blast or the battle falls under the Explosive Weaponry rule Adjacent units can take damage from the blast from the attacks. So, whenever possible, climb this dagger in the first or last position!

Knowing how to position each monster well according to its type of attack and/or abilities is essential for optimal positioning, which can guarantee victory in a battle.

Another interesting fact about this dagraon is its high amount of health and armor, and this can be explained due to its ability Taunt . Every monster with this ability has enough health to last longer on the field, since all attacks are directed at itself.

Agor Longtail is the type of dagraon that does not tolerate magic attacks, its ability Void Armor does not allow magic to pass through your armor before it is destroyed. So, our dagger is a great option to face teams with magical units.

To be able to summon Agor Longtail you need a Dagron Splinter Summoner
and the ones with the best synergy are: Daria Dragonscale and Delwyn Dragonscale. While the former adds (+1) to melee attack , second adds (+1) to magical attack . However, both can only be used in Wild mode of the game. 😥

Being a Legendary card from the Riftwatchers mini collection and having a slightly lower print quantity than its Main Edition, Chaos Legion. Its price is slightly expensive compared to the legendary cards of the Chaos Legion edition. But, that's not the only reason this card is so expensive, it's due to its stats and abilities already mentioned in this post.

Consulting the site Splintercards, Agor Longtail has been a valued card since its appearance in Splinterlands. It is currently priced at $23.21 for the regular version and $244.76 for the gold leaf version.

For now, I want to own at least one copy of this dagrão, in the regular version of course. However, while we do not purchase this card, we rent it on the market, for only 1 DEC/Day.

Now without further ado, let's get down to business!

For this battle we have 42 mana at our disposal, and the Rulestes: Heavy Hitters, Old Ones Out and Silenced Summoners. Heavy Hitters is great for scaling monsters with the Stun ability , which has the possibility to double the damage of monsters with Knock Out , but I always forget this detail 😅. The Old Ones Out rule only allows odd mana cards and Silenced Summoners causes Summoners to lose their abilities.

With that amount of mana available we can consider choosing Dagrão Splinter ,
even more so with the Old Ones Out rule, which makes our deck scarce, in order to solve this problem this will be the selected Splinter.

The Chosen Summoner was Camila Sungazer because it has the least amount of mana, since Summoners are silenced and lose their abilities. My opponent thought the same way and also chose Splinter of Dagraon with a low mana cost Summoner, Kretch Tallevor. Both Summoners have 3 mana cost.

This is my battle lineup:

	Our star of the night was ranked first and was chosen because the possibility of facing a team with a magic attack was too great, with Splinter of Water and Earth . Its offensive power and high amount of health and armor makes it excellent for scaling as a main tank.
	As a secondary tank I chose Carnage Titan, which has the characteristics to stay precisely in this position due to the ability Reach, Shield and Double Strike , and of course it has a lot of health and armor
	In the next position I climbed Venari Marksrat, which has the ability Martyr . It is a low health unit that when it dies causes the cards adjacent to it to gain (+1) in all attributes. love this ability 😍.
	Then, I cast Uraeus a card with melee attack and Sneak ability .
	Finally, we cast another dagger, Dragon Jumper, which has a melee attack and the ability Opportunity, and is also a high-speed card. Being placed in the last position on purpose, as the opponent may have unity with Sneak attack and will certainly be able to miss several attacks.

The battle of dagraons began, we both bet on units with a lot of offensive power. The first attack was uttered by the opponent with the Runic Skyclaw unit that has ranged attack and (4) damage, in addition to the Snipe ability .

If Agor Longtail didn't have the Taunt ability , this first attack would go to Venari Marksrat, which has ranged attack.

That round was a real massacre for Agor Longtail, as all the attacks went towards him. Fortunately, our star managed to withstand all enemy attacks this round.

And in this round, Agor Longtail fulfilled its mission to protect our team from the opponent's initial damage. But, we managed to defeat Pelacor Bandit and the enemy tank, Torhilo The Frozen.

This round, Venari Marksrat is defeated and its ability Martyr is activated. And adjacent cards gain more (+1) on all of your stats. So Carnage Titan and Uraeus are the units with high stats.

The battle is fierce and who will win?

We managed to defeat Void Dagron, which is a difficult card to defeat, as it has a lot of speed and, together with the Flying ability, manages to dodge several attacks.

Another card that gave us a lot of headaches was Venari Wavesmith, which grants all enemy units (+2) armor and this really messed up our team, which mostly has melee attacks.

The opponent had quite offensive cards, but thanks to our star of the night who received all the initial damage, it was possible to win this battle.

Agor Longtail is a very powerful card and is coveted by many players in Splinterlands. Its only weakness is its high mana cost, but that doesn't really bother me!

Splinterlands é uma Card Game incrível e se você por acaso caiu aqui de para-quedas, este é o melhor #play2earn que existe. E este post é um evento realizado semanalmente para divulgar o universo Splinterlands nas redes sociais.

Esta semana, o Desafio Semanal será aberto a qualquer carta do Splinter de Dagrão, em Splinterlands existe [06] Splinters: Fogo, Água, Terra, Vida, Morte, Dagrão e Neutro

O Splinter de Dagrão é o mais versátil dentre os Splinters, pois permite selecionar cartas de outro Splinter disponível, além do Splinter Neutro é claro.

Dagrões são criaturas misticas e poderosas, porém na maioria das vezes possuem alto custo de mana para serem invocados no campo. Este talvez seja um dos pontos negativos dessas criaturas.

Por isso, na maioria das vezes eles são vistos em batalhas com alta mana disponível, acima de 50 de mana é fractível o uso de dagrões poderosos, no campo de batalha.

Embora existam dagrões com baixo custo de mana o Splinter de Dagrões sempre foi sinômino de poder, então será comum batalhar contra eles quando o conjunto de regras possuir alta mana disponível.

Na imagem abaixo, apresento a vocês alguns Dagrões Lendários, que embora sejam poderosos possui alto custo de mana, que é acertável dado o seu poder.

No Desafio de hoje o Dagrão escolhido foi Agor Longtail, para invocar está carta seu custo é de [15] quinze de mana 😱. Porém, seu poder é absurdo pois possui dois tipos de ataque: melee e mágico .

Preparados para conhecer este poderoso monstro?

É uma carta de dar inveja a qualquer jogador para se ter no baralho. Agor Longtail é uma dagrão que possui (3) de ataque melee e (2) de ataque mágico, (3) de velocidade, (6) de armadura, (11) de saúde, além das habilidades Flying , Taunt e Void Armor . Todas essas estatísticas e habilidades somente no nível 1, será que vale a pena o custo de 15 mana?

Para tornar esta carta ainda mais incrível, no nível 3 ela adquiri a habilidade Heal , já no nível máximo ela aumenta para (3) seu ataque mágico. Sem palavras para este Dagrão é simplesmente incrível!

Em condições normais, Rulesets Standard , a melhor posição para escalar nosso dagrão é na primeira posição, pois ambos os tipos de ataque são aproveitados, melee e mágico . Porém, com Rulesets Super Sneak , Melee Mayhem e Opportunity esta carta pode ser posicionada na última posição.

Mas você deve está se perguntando "Mais por que não colocá-lo em qualquer posição?". Pelo simples fato que Agor Longtail possui a habilidade Taunt , que atrair todos os ataques para si (quando possível). E isso é um perigo, pois caso o oponente utilize cartas com a habilidade Blast ou a batalha cai na regra Explosive Weaponry as unidades adjancentes podem levar os danos causados pela explosão do ataques. Então, sempre quando possível escale este dagrão na primeira ou última posição!

Saber posicionar bem cada monstro em função do seu tipo de ataque e/ou habilidades é essencial para um posicionamento ótimo, que pode garantir a vitória em uma batalha.

Outro fato interessante deste dagrão é a sua grande quantidade de saúde e armadura, e isto pode ser explicado devido sua habilidade Taunt . Todo monstro com essa habilidade possui bastante saúde para durar mais tempo em campo, uma vez que todos os ataques são direcionados para si.

Agor Longtail é do tipo de dagrão que não tolera ataques mágicos, sua habilidade Void Armor não permite que mágia atravesse sua armadura antes que ela seja destruida. Então, nosso dagrão é uma ótima opção para enfrentar times com unidade mágicas.

Para pode invocar Agor Longtail é necessário um Invocador do Splinter de Dagrão e os que possuem a melhor sinergia são: Daria Dragonscale e Delwyn Dragonscale. Enquanto o primeiro adciona (+1) ao ataque melee , o segundo adciona (+1) ao ataque mágico . Porém, ambos só podem ser utilizados no modo Wild do jogo. 😥

Sendo uma carta Lendária da mini coleção Riftwatchers e por ter uma quantidade de impressão ligeiramente menor que a sua Edição principal, Chaos Legion. Seu preço é ligeramente caro, em comparação com as cartas lendárias da edição Chaos Legion. Mas , esse não é único motivo desta carta ser assim tão cara é devido as suas estatísticas e habilidades já comentadas neste post.

Consultando o site Splintercards, Agor Longtail sempre foi uma carta valorizada desde o seu surgimento em Splinterlands. Atualmente está cotado por $23.21 na sua versão regular e na $244.76 na versão em folha de ouro.

Por enquanto, fico no desejo de possui pelo menos um exemplar deste dagrão, na versão regular é claro. Porém, enquanto não fazemos a aquisição desta carta vamos alugando no market, por cerca de apenas 1 DEC/Dia.

Agora sem mais delogas, vamos ao que importa!

Para essa batalha temos 42 de mana a nossa disposição, e os Rulestes: Heavy Hitters, Old Ones Out e Silenced Summoners. Heavy Hitters é ótima para escalar monstros com a habilidade Stun , que tem a possibilidade de dobrar o dano dos monstros com Knock Out , porém sempre me esqueço deste detalhe 😅. Na regra Old Ones Out somente é permitido cartas de mana impar e Silenced Summoners faz com que os Invocadores perdam suas habilidades.

Com essa quantidade de mana disponível podemos pensar em escolher o Splinter de Dagrão , ainda mais com a regra Old Ones Out, que torna nosso baralho escasso, a fim de resolver este problema este será o Splinter selecionado.

O Invocador Escolhido foi Camila Sungazer por possui a menor quantidade de mana, uma vez que os Invocadores são sileciados e perdem suas habilidades. Meu oponente pensou da mesma forma e também escolheu o Splinter de Dagrão com um Invocador de baixo custo de mana, Kretch Tallevor. Ambos os Invocadores possuem 3 de custo de mana.

Essa é a minha escalação para a batalha:

	Nossa estrela da noite foi escalada para primeira posição e foi escolhida pois a possibilidade de enfrentar um time com ataque mágico era muito grande, com Splinter de Água e Terra . Seu poder ofensivo e sua grande quantidade de saúde e armadura é excelente para escalar como tanque principal.
	Como tanque secundário escolhi Carnage Titan, que possui as caracteristicas para ficar justamente nesta posição devido a habilidade Reach , Shield e Double Strike , e claro possui bastante saúde e armadura
	Na próxima posição escalei Venari Marksrat, que possui a habilidade Martyr . É uma unidade com pouca saúde que quando morre faz com que as cartas adjancentes a elas ganhem (+1) em todos os atributos. Amo essa habilidade 😍.
	Em seguida, escalei Uraeus uma carta com ataque melee e habilidade Sneak .
	Por fim, escalamos outro dagrão, Dragon Jumper que possui ataque melee e a habilidade Opportunity, e ainda é uma carta de alta velocidade. Sendo colocada na última posição de proposito, pois o oponente pode ter unidade com ataque Sneak e certamente poderá perde vários ataques.

A batalha de dagrões começou, ambos apostamos as fichas em unidades com muito poder ofensivo. O primeiro ataque foi proferido pelo oponente com a unidade Runic Skyclaw que possui ataque ranged e (4) de dano, além da habilidade Snipe .

Caso Agor Longtail não tivesse a habilidade Taunt , este primeiro ataque iria para Venari Marksrat, que possui ataque ranged.

Essa rodada foi um verdadeiro massacre para Agor Longtail, pois todos os ataques foram na sua direção. Felizmente, nossa estrela conseguiu suportar todos os ataque inimigos, nesta rodada.

E nesta rodada, Agor Longtail cumpri sua missão de proteger nosso time dos danos iniciais do oponente. Mas, conseguimos derrotar Pelacor Bandit e o tanque inimigo, Torhilo The Frozen.

Nesta rodada, Venari Marksrat é derrotado e sua habilidade Martyr é ativada. E as cartas adjacentes ganham mais (+1) em todas as suas estatísticas. Então, Carnage Titan e Uraeus são as unidades com tem suas estatísticas elevadas.

A batalha está acirrada e quem será que leva a melhor?

Conseguimos derrotar o Void Dagron que uma carta dificil de derrotar, pois tem bastante velocidade e em conjunto com a habilidade Flying consegue esquivar de vários ataques.

Outra carta que deu bastante dor de cabeça foi Venari Wavesmith, que concede a todas unidade inimigas (+2) de armadura e isso atrapalhou demais nosso time, que possui em sua grande parte ataque melee.

O oponente tinha cartas bastante ofensivas, mas graças a nossa estrela da noite que recebeu os todos os danos inicias foi possível vencer esta batalha.

Agor Longtail é uma carta bastante poderosa e cobiçada por muitos jogadores em Splinterlands. Sua única fraqueza é seu altissimo custo de mana, mas isso realmente não me incomada!
