Beetle and mating flies

Hey guys, happy Sunday, I wish you all enjoy your beautiful, subline and lovely Sunday today. Please a llow me to accompany your day with these macro insect that I have today.

Teh first one is this scarab beetle that I found hangin on the flower stalks of a wild shurb. Well I guess you have understand how could i could it here. yeah, this kind of beetle usually will eat on the flower, or young leaves of a plant. And since I found it on the flower, so it was maybe starting its day by feasting on those flowers. Before I came, take a few photos, twisted the stalk to get better angle, and then caused it to fall doan because I did it too much. ahah

Now guess how many species are in this photo behind that branch?
One, two, or three?

Well it turns out that these are two mating flies. It was a little bit hard to be able to phtoorgaph them, as the moved away from my camera whenever I tried to get photos of them. they will always try to hide behind that small stalk.

This is the last photo of them that i managed to photograph, because they flew away after this. as you can see, the way its legs are position you can see that it is on the take off pose.
