I always say to use the standoff skill at the start of the battle because it will kill 3 soldiers at a time. This is very helpful when you are fighting against a group that has many number. But it is not that easy to execute the standoff skill. You need to be very careful with the timing of the attack from your enemy to perfectly get the result.
Today when I was playing, I don't know what happened to me but I wasn't able to perform the standoff skill properly. At first the group I met on my way they were only 3. I thought I would finish them with ease but bad luck. The soldier tried to fool me with a fake attack and I fell for it. I made the move before the soldiers did, so I got hit badly. Today I knew that standoff skill killed the enemy but if I missed it the enemy would kill me with one strike.
And surprisingly this happened to me twice. Like, I called for the standoff and the enemy killed me with one hit. I was shocked to see. How did I miss again?
At the next fight I was frustrated so I didn't call for a standoff馃槀 But I made another mistake this time. The soldiers I encountered were having spear and sword in their hand. I should have been using the wind or stone stance to fight them. But I was using the moon stance. The result was predictable. I lost again badly.
At the second round, I called for a standoff. And this time, I managed to time it perfectly and killed two of them. Finally, I got relieved.
Two dogs were also attacking me. One of them was trying to bite me so I killed him with my sword. The other one didn't get a chance to come near me because
There was a Shaman in their group. That creepy idiot cast some kind of spell on the soldiers to power them. I killed him with one strike of my sword because I changed my stance to wind before fighting him.
