I was supposed to leave Canada on Tuesday, but on Monday morning I checked my facebook feed to discover that my home town was set ablaze by high winds and a spark from our failing infrastructure. On Monday morning there was very little reliable information, so I decided to leave for home 1 day early.

Information trickled in while I drove south from Vancouver Canada. By the time I had made it to Eugene Oregon it was clear that my home in Western Sonoma County had been spared. I slowed down and decided to spend the night in Eugene, but this sunset came first. I saw the flag and an exit right after. This was an impulse fly.

The next day I returned to the Santa Rosa area to find complete neighborhoods had vanished overnight. The local airways were screaming and finger-pointing. National networks covered the story too, but National news seemed to be focused on whether someone should kneel or sit during the national anthem.

I'm not sure anymore, so I flew around it. I hope that the viewer feels dizzy. I think most Americans are feeling dizzy these days... Just don't say his name. It's too soon.
