Life is all about the ups and downs. No profession is exempted from this universal law.
Like entrepreneurship, sometimes you succeed, sometimes you fail. People said you should enjoy the process, but nobody told you this process is not for everyone.
The thing is, we don’t get to choose our comfort zone most of the time. We work for it.
In our hardship, we unintentionally forged a unique ability – The ability to endure.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path, and that will make all the difference.” – Steve Jobs
This quote is especially accurate. We don’t know our future for sure, but we can control our will to move on; be it a leap of faith or a single step at the time.
I have hit rock bottom quite a few times, but I realized it is more of a progression than a stopper.
What every event happened is a test of your ability to handle it. The ability to make progression.
Life lessons do not come while you are sitting on the couch comfortably. It happens when you are asleep; wrecking you out of your own bed.
I am a firm believer that every hardship comes a great lesson (a reward would be a bonus) to learn. When you have walked into your future and looked back (connecting back the dots), you’ll see a blessing instead of agony.
Remember your value and purpose, even when you hit rock bottom.
