The other day I was watching this Pawn Stars TV-show and got flabbergasted!
This elderly lady brought in a brooch she got from her grandmother, requesting a few thousand dollars for it. When inspecting the piece, the shop owner got totally exited and offered 15.000 US dollars for it.
It turned out to be an original Fabergé, and as you may know, this guy was one of the most famous jewellery designers in the world and known for his Fabergé Egg worth several millions of Dollars.
This lady actually made the deal!
With the Pawn Shop!
Selling such piece at some auction could've given her a few times that amount!
