@lymmerik is a new virtual friend that I really have enjoyed following - he hosts some really nice gatherings of poetry and writing. In fact, just today, I found a whole contest of his that I missed, with a name so long I can't believe I didn't see it!

But lets get down to it - Limericks! The limerick is a very short poem, but there is so much creativity that can go into it! Not for nothing these types of poems are legendary for being raunchy and hilarious!

This week, the theme is Steemit itself! Its a meta-competition!

My entry:

There is a great website called steemit
I love it a lot, don't demean it;
But sometimes, you know,
DDOS makes it slow -
So slow that I wrote a whole limerick!
