How I Made This Band Hanging Top With High Waist Flare Skirt

Is always a pleasure to share my talent with my fellow creative hands, the year has just began and am a bit stress free and i choose to use this period for myself at least to make some of my clothes before my clients will start coming and there will be less time for myself 🤣🤣 if you're into it you will understand what am talking about sometimes i always wants to attend to customers first and it has made me lazy over making my own clothes 😂😂 i don't know if it happens to any other person that way or is it because of the money involved? Someone should help a sister

So let's go back to business, today i will be telling us how i made this beautiful skirt and blause is a high Waist flare Skirt with a hanging top with band and the style came out well just how i saw it on internet, though it wasn't so easy but it didn't take me so long. Is a brown light designed animal skin material i don't know if it has Another name i bought the material along side others since November but i have not had time to make them so since am less busy now i choose to make them now and i will still show you the rest when they are ready

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing method i won't forget to mention other materials that made the process successful the sewing machine, matching colour thread, tape rule, tailoring chalk , office pin. No pattern was used rather a free hand method was used for the cutting

Because i didn't use lining for this clothe facing was introduced to turn the ruff edges

The top has band at the waist and that gave the whole clothe a beautiful loving shape and the skirt also has elastic on it's waist

This is the outcome of the clothe you can see me wearing it how does it look Isn't it beautiful? I don't know about you for me i don't like clothes that are too close to my body i like to free but fitted clothes
