Thinly sliced meat and vegetables are boiled in water and served with dipping sauces in the Japanese nabemono hotpot dish known as shabu-shabu. The phrase is onomatopoeic and derives from the sound that is made when stirring the contents in the cooking pot, "swish swish." It is famous around Asia

We have many branches of Shabu-shabu Restaurants in the Philippines already. I believe most of Filipinos had tried the Shabu-shabu. This had been my second experience, and I was still smitten. Additionally, it's the ideal location for gathering with friends and family to eat together.
