In the short time in which I have been participating in the Splinterlands Art Contest, this is the first time I will be drawing a character from the Pelacor set. The wings I think is what has kept me away all the while. Putting these wings in perspective isn't as easy as it looks and I will try to work on that. With that being said, I will like for you to sit back, relax and go through the process, it did take some time.
First and foremost I drew the lineart using my blue pen. I wasn't so sure about the placement of the wings and wanted to omit if but I believed it to be a crucial part of the sketch.
With the lineart out of the way the next thing was to reaffirm the face. I did this using my black pen.
...this process continued well into the armour she was wearing and you can plainly see that I'm still in the same dilemma as regards to the wings.
At this point I touched the hair...
The strap holding the armour is just as important so that was what I drew next.
The wings I believe were the last step but I tell you sincerely that the very moment I started coloring them, I lost the little sense of perspective I had and since it was a pen, I couldn't erase this mistake.
The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
